Today was a long day and I’m looking forward to getting into bed and doing a little reading. Work has been boring at best and tedious at it’s worst. But I guess that’s why they call it work.
We did a brick workout tonight. The first brick workout is always a strange feeling. You swim for a bit and then you get out of the water, do a quick transition and take off on the bike. all the ladies did awesome. When they got out of the water, I waited for a bit and then I went out for my swim – sans wetsuit as the water was quite nice. The bad part about the workout was the large amount of dead fish… small dead fish (and by small I mean roughly 4inches or so). And when you tried to push them out of the way or if you accidentally brushed up against one, it was like they had porcupine spines on them. It was awful. But the heron did’t seem to mind and once you got past a certain point, they weren’t around. Aside from the dead fish, it was a pretty good swim.



So is a brick workout just any two legs together? I thought bricks were only Bike-Run (br—ick). Interesting! And ew on the dead fish!!
